PAS3-testmethode

The study was carried out by Centre Technique Du Papier. This is an externally certified company that can conduct investigations. Our research began with the PAS3 test method. Devised by experts, this test revolves around one simple question: 'How well does our toilet paper hold up when you flush it down the toilet?' This test was conducted with water flows similar to those in narrow 25mm sewers. The most important thing was to see what happened to our bamboo toilet paper after it was flushed. This test was done with of our 300-sheet, 2-ply bamboo toilet paper. To find out if the bamboo paper is soluble, 6 sheets were placed in a moving 4-litre container. This container moved for 30 minutes at a specific speed, similar to the flow in narrow sewers. After the 30 minutes, the materials were rinsed through a sieve with 25-mm holes, followed by a one-minute rinse. This method is similar to what happens in sewers.
The results of this study tell how our bamboo toilet paper developed after this test. And what turns out? It met solubility requirements, with more than 80% of the material passing through the sieve after 30 minutes of testing. This means that our bamboo toilet paper is not only green, but can also be flushed down the toilet without any problems, even through the most complex sewage systems. How cool!
